1. What if I’m not in shape? I haven’t worked out in YEARS, will it be too tough for me?
a. At Boot Camp Revolution we accept ALL fitness levels from the marathon runners to the walkers. We meet you wherever you are and our mission is to help you grow in your personal fitness. The class is a progression, and we definitely understand that sometimes – you may have to crawl before you run!
2. How long is the class?
a. All of our classes are FOUR WEEKS and they run continuously back to back. You can join on any Monday you choose The morning class is M-F 5:00 – 6:00 AM, 6:00 – 6:45 AM and the evening class is M- TH 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. We offer free sessions that are open to the public on Saturday mornings.
3. Is there a food plan?
a. Yes there is a strict eating regiment that you will be asked to follow during your boot camp sessions. You record the foods you eat in your bootcamp log book and your trainer checks it every single day. If you fail to eat correctly you will receive something called “encouragement” which will help you get back on track. We also have a Certified Nutritionist on staff to answer all questions about eating plans.
4. Who are the trainers?
a. All Boot Camp Revolution lead instructors are Certified Personal Trainers and are also CPR certified. They participated in the bootcamp program before becoming instructors, underwent a rigorous training program before teaching a class. We also bring other areas of expertise, i.e. Power lifting, Martial Arts, Kettle Bell training and Crossfit. We pride ourselves on staying ahead of the fitness learning curve and offering the most comprehensive training programs.
5. What if I have an injury or some other minor health problems?
a. We can definitely work with minor injuries or health problems; all we need is a clearance letter from your physician, authorizing you to participate in bootcamp.
6. How much weight will I lose in 30 days?
a. At Boot Camp Revolution we ask you to not focus on pounds, but focus on inches. We want you to be satisfied with how you look, how you feel and how your clothes fit. This is not a 30 day “fix” the average bootcamp student is in class approximately 90 days before they reach their ultimate goal. Losing weight is a process, especially when done the healthy way. We can guarantee that you will lose several inches in the first 30 days – as long as you eat the appropriate foods, do your homework and come to class. Keep in mind, your diet is 75% of your success.
7. What do you actually do in the bootcamp?
a. We do a lot of different things! Running, push ups, jumping jacks, sprints, weight training, leg work – the list goes on. We recommend that you come to one of our free Saturday sessions and see for yourself!
